I’m Obsessed

As a fitness girlie always on the go,

I found this ramen while I was looking for high-protein alternatives to instant noodles. In all honestly, 90% of my meals at home are either soybean spaghetti (I like the ones from Aldi) or bagel & egg sandwiches.

It’s giving: Girl Dinner

Since I have re-enrolled in college this semester, I have almost no time between full-time bartending, school, and life – absolutely wrecking my time for home-cooked meals even further.

Packed with Protein

I ordered the Roasted Chicken Flavor, and it’s a hard Smash.

The broth tastes just like the chicken flavor we grew up with, minus the chicken!

The noodles are egg-free, making for a bit of a starchy texture. It has a slight taste of diet food, similar to whey protein powder. I don’t suggest eating it plain if you are sensitive to that type of flavor. There is no added MSG, which would probably help the slightly chalky taste.

I stay adding things to my ramen. See Recipes down below.

This organic ramen is primarily made with wheat, soy, and pea protein.

With just the power of plants, each serving has

20 grams of protein.

Certified:

  • Plant-Based
  • Halal
  • Kosher

  • Dairy-Free

Sustainable Paper Cup

Chef Woo’s Plant-Based Protein Ramen cups are made of recyclable paper instead of styrofoam.

Filling & Affordable

This ramen comes in a pack of 12, totaling for less than $4 a pop.

It’s easily a super cheap meal that will last you weeks, assuming you don’t eat ramen every day. If you do eat ramen everyday, then this will last about a week because it’s so tasty.

Perfect for camping and college students!

Endless Possibilities

You can create so many meals with these 4 plant-based ramen flavors:

Roasted Chicken, Braised Beef, Sweet Chili Togarashi, & Thai Lemongrass

My Go-to Ramen Recipes

A La Mexicana

Plant-based punch of spicy & lime.

My default ramen flavor is always Chicken, as it was a staple in my house growing up. Being Mexican-American, we usually smother the noodles with lime and Valentina Hot Sauce to our individual liking and heat tolerance. The intense flavor is reminiscent of Taki’s Fuego Flavor in the purple bag.

Valentina Hot Sauce

The styrofoam cup instant stuff I grew up with didn’t have a whole lot of nutritional value. I feel much better knowing that my Chef Woo rainy day nostalgia soup is

plant-based, cruetly-free, and super healthy.

TheLate Asf

Lately, I’ve been taking a more fitness approach to instant ramen.

I always have boiled eggs on hand. If I’m in a rush (which I usually am), I heat up my Chef Woo Ramen with boiling water from my kettle, a handful of spinach & kale blend, and a boiled egg cut in half (sometimes 2 boiled eggs).

***Bonus points if you are using up the old veggies in your fridge!***

Seriously, anything goes in this recipe!

Here is a list of things I have added that were wilting in my fridge:

  • Sauteed onions
  • Tomatoes
  • Cilantro
  • Broccoli
  • Mushrooms

Also, adding a tiny bit of butter (I do about a teaspoon) gives your ramen a rich, velvety texture that immediately elevates any expiring vegetable into comfort food.

It’s the best way to give life to your sad vegetables!

This recipe is ready in about 5 minutes, and it keeps me full for hours.
